It has been a long time since I was finally able to make this cocktail and it did not disappoint. Do not be fooled by the simplicity of Caipirinha, it is an amazing cocktail. Fresh, tropical, rum like qualities of Cachaça really shine through in this cocktail. Combine that with dark caramelized notes of demerara sugar muddled together with lime and you end up with a fantastically refreshing drink.
