For me watermelon is a quintessential summer fruit. So, naturally, I went out on the search for a cocktail with this refreshing fruit. Eventually, I have encountered a Watermelon Cucumber Cooler and it did not disappoint.

This cocktail ingeniously combines cucumber and watermelon, with just a little bit of salt to bring out the best qualities of both and maximize the refreshing effect. The result was a spectacular cocktail. I have decided to further expand on this by adding a mint sprig garnish, pairing so well with the watermelon and adding a further aromatic component. Boozy kick comes from the gin with its botanical notes adding a touch more complexity to the drink, but maintaining the lightness of it. Finally, a mix of lemon and lime juices combined with sugar cane syrup, bringd a little hint of the tropics, so suitable for this time of the year.

Watermelon Cucumber Cooler has everything going for it to become a hit at your next summer party.
