Cocktail author: adapted from the recipe by Khristian de la Torre.

Salmoncito is a cocktail that could quickly become synonymous with the word “fusion”. It features classic European ingredients from across the entire continent and then gives it a subtle Mexican spin. It is a perfect cocktail to bring people together.

Cocktail base is formed by the classic London dry gin and its signature juniper notes. When paired with effervescent quinine taste of the tonic, one could think that this cocktail point straight at the UK. However, further addition of bitter-sweet orange of the Campari takes you directly to Italy. Finally, the addition of bitter-tart grapefruit juice gives the cocktail an almost Paloma like Mexican twist, bringing this unusual cultural blend together.

Salmoncito is a delightfully refreshing cocktail, perfectly suited to soothe the soul on a steaming hot summers day. It picks the beloved tastes from the cocktail world and blends it effortlessly into a cohesive and delicious drink, I highly recommend trying it.
