Five and Dime is an incredibly refreshing creation built upon the flavour pairing of citrus, gin and apricot brandy liqueur: a combination worth dying for.

First time I made this cocktail, I was of course expecting a good result, but I had no idea how good it would be. Juniper forward London dry gin playing around with sweet, fruity apricot notes of the brandy liqueur, balanced by a healthy dose of lemon juice and orgeat, resulted in a true flavour bomb. Every single ingredient performs an important role, without overtaking others. If ever the phrase “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts” where applicable to the cocktail, Five and Dime is it.

This cocktail is well-balanced, refreshing and a true delight to drink. Even though it is clearly intended for a warmer time of the year, the comforting flavour combination makes it suitable to drink all year round.
