Lemoncello Spritz

COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS:
- 60 ml Lemoncello
- 60 ml Prosecco (Chilled)
- 90 ml Soda Water (Chilled)
- Pinch of salt
- Lemon Juice (of one wedge / quarter)

GARNISH:

- Lemon Wedge
- Sprig of Rosemary

INSTRUCTIONS:
• Fill a wine glass with ice.
• Add the remaining ingredients.
• Give it a brief stir to combine.
• Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a lemon wedge.

I will finish these four weeks of spritzes with Lemoncello Spritz by Steve the Bartender.

For a while now, there was this half empty bottle of Lemoncello standing in the back my liquor cabinet, so I was very happy to come across this recipe and once again put it to good use.

Lemoncello Spritz is a remarkable low ABV refresher utilizing a traditional Italian liqueur, that is bursting with bitter-sweet lemon flavour. Combine that with bubbly Prosecco and lengthen with soda water and your quick summer cocktail is ready. Although, do not forget to squeeze a touch of lemon juice and add a pinch of salt, it will coax the subtler notes out and will elevate this cocktail to a whole new level.

Lemoncello Spritz, is probably the lightest and most refreshing of the spritzes I had a pleasure to taste so far and I highly recommend trying it.
