There are few other cocktails so well-known and beloved as Margarita. Countless of riffs and cocktails have been based on this classic, so turning this delicious tequila cocktail into a highball seems like a very tasty idea.

Tommy’s Margarita has served as a foundation for this drink. Blanco Tequila forms the base of the cocktail with bold notes of vegetal agave as the main flavour. Lime juice provides that familiar freshness and tartness brightening up the drink. Agave syrup balances out the cocktail, while at the same time reinforcing notes of tequila. Soda water brings some sparkling effervescence and dilution turning this drink into a true highball. Finally, and most importantly, do not forget the salt rim, it lets all the flavours pop right to the forefront and breathes a lot of life into the cocktail.

All in all, Margarita Soda is a remarkably simple and flavourful cocktail, that does not require extensive bar inventory or ingredients. Perfect summer sipper, to refresh yourself with on the summer evening.
