Sloe Gin Sour is an amazing winter style drink, that fits perfectly to the ongoing skiing or the little winter holiday season.

Main flavour of the cocktail is defined by the choice of spirit - Sloe Gin. It immediately brings fruity sweetness and slight acidity to the forefront of the cocktail, with gentle undertones reminiscent of pomegranate and cherries. Addition of Campari introduces the bittersweet notes of orange bringing a bit more complexity and bitter element to the otherwise standard sour template. From this point on the build follows the usual set up with fresh tartness of lemon juice, a bit of balance from semi rich simple syrup and the velvety texture of egg white. For the final touch express some lemon peel oils over the top with a few drops of Angostura bitters. This type of finish adds wonderful aromatic dimension to the cocktail always tempting you to take one more sip.

Sloe Gin Fizz is a fruity sour cocktail, not too strong, but full of fantastic fresh flavours right from the start. Sure, to be a hit at any party.
