Solero

COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS:
- 45 ml Vodka
- 45 ml Passion Fruit Puree
- 30 ml Half and Half
- 15 ml Vanilla Liqueur
- 15 ml Passion Fruit Syrup
- 7,5 ml Passion Fruit Liqueur

GARNISH:
- Mint Sprig
- Edible Flower

INSTRUCTIONS:
• Fill the cocktail glass with crushed or pebble ice.
• Add the remaining ingredients except passion fruit liqueur.
• Stir to combine and top with more ice.
• Float passion fruit liqueur on top.
• Garnish with a sprig of mint and an edible flower.

This cocktail recipe was one of those delightful discoveries of this summer. Solero is a decadent, creamy cocktail full of tropical fruitiness, basically capturing the essence of summer in a glass.

Cocktail base is formed by vodka, a crispy clear spirit pairing well with other ingredients and letting the fruitiness of passion fruit take center stage. This fruitiness is brought by puree, syrup and liqueur - a triple threat of passionfruit making a powerful statement. Half and half bring that decadent creamy texture binding the ingredients into a cohesive whole. Modest addition of vanilla liqueur adds a gentle spice elevating the overall cocktail complexity and pairing very well with passionfruit.

All in all, Solero is a remarkably delicious and indulgent cocktail, full of tropical spirit and summer flavours. A true summer hit, that will definitely make a reappearance at my house.
