With the cool and rainy autumn weather just around the corner it is a great time to enjoy a booze filled rum cocktail such as Ranglum. It can easily breach the gap between summer and autumn, finding its place regardless of the time of the year or perhaps even transporting you back on your sunny summer holiday.

Base of the cocktail is formed by dark rum and its signature rich notes of molasses, vanilla, ripe fruits and tropical spice. Addition of Jamaican overproof rum adds a touch of delicious funky banana enriching the drinking experience. Velvet Falernum brings sweet tropical spice to the mix, elevating the cocktail complexity and is then balanced by the tartness of lime juice. I chose to go with 15 ml instead of 7,5 ml of lime juice, to please my tartness loving palate. However, if you prefer sweeter cocktails, feel free to take it down a notch.

Overall, Ranglum is a simple cocktail, full of delicious tropical flavours, boozy rum and delicious to the very last drop. Great for cocktail novices and seasoned drinkers.
