COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS:
- 22,5 ml Aged Jamaican Rum
- 22,5 ml Cynar
- 15 ml Elderflower Liqueur
- 22,5 ml Lime Juice
- 15 ml Orgeat

GARNISH:
- Lime Wheel
- Sprig of Mint

INSTRUCTIONS:
• Combine all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
• Add ice and shake until chilled.
• Strain over fresh crushed ice into a cocktail glass.
• Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lime wheel.

A surprising combination of ingredients that works amazingly well. A traditional jumping off point for a tiki, rum and lime juice, is enriched by the complexity of Cynar and Elderflower. At first it does not seem that all these flavours can work together, but in a true tiki fashion, unexpectedly, they do and to a fantastic end.
Artichoke Hold is a refreshing well balanced cocktail; a joy to drink. All components are noticeable: from fragrant sweet notes of elderflower and almonds, offset by the sourness of lime and bitterness of Cynar, and eventually a hit of funky Jamaican rum.
I strongly recommend to try it when you have a chance.
