A very interesting take on a “quite” popular cocktail. At first, I was a bit sceptical, because I usually find Espresso Martinis a bit too sweet. However, smoky vegetable notes of Mezcal really works wonders in this classic cocktail, giving it a new direction and a new more complex taste. An incredibly enjoyable cocktail to chill with during the weekend.
(I toned down orgeat to 10 ml (because my coffee liqueur was rather sweet), so it would be a bit more balanced for my taste. But depending on your ingredients and taste this might not be necessary.)
