Recipe author: This is a traditional Brazilian cocktail recipe adapted by the Smuggler’s Cove.

This cocktail recipe was rather unusual for me. I would like to say that it looks like a milkshake, but it did not taste like any other milkshake I have ever had before. (In a good way.)

To start with, base spirit for the cocktail is aged cachaça, not a very common cocktail ingredient (undeservedly so). Its grassy and caramel notes solidly ground the cocktail. Coconut milk adds a bit more body to the cocktail and condensed milk provides that comforting sweetness. To top it all off, passion fruit pure provides some fresh tropical zingy notes to finish and round out the cocktail.

Batida de Maracuja e Coco is a cocktail that is easy to make, yet complex in flavor and drinking experience. Therefore, to call it a milkshake would not do it justice and I highly recommend to try it. it can pleasantly surprise you.
