Honeydew Crush Gin Cocktail

COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS:
- 60 ml London Dry Gin
- 30 ml Fresh Lemon Juice
- 30 ml Honey Syrup
- 15 ml Orange Curaçao
- 5 - 2,5 cm Cubes of Honeydew Melon
- 2 - 0,5 cm Thick Cucumber Wheels
- 22,5 ml Egg Whites
- 30 ml Sparkling Water

GARNISH:
- Cucumber Wheel
- Sprig of Mint

INSTRUCTIONS:
• Combine gin, lemon juice, honey syrup, curaçao, honeydew and cucumber in a cocktail shaker.
• Muddle the fruit in a shaker tin.
• Add egg whites and dry shake to emulsify the egg.
• Add ice and shake again until chilled.
• Double strain over fresh ice into a cocktail glass.
• Top with sparkling water.
• Garnish with a cucumber wheel and a sprig of mint.

This cocktail was an amazing summer discovery. I absolutely love gin fizz style cocktails and this is one of my new favorites.

Combination of sweet melon notes paired with honey syrup and orange curaçao, provides fruity sweetness to the drink, while cucumber adds some cool freshness. All of this is balanced well with 60 ml of dry gin, creating a solid base for a fizz cocktail. Top it with thick egg white foam and sparkling water for some texture and you end up with an incredible drink.

First sips will be very light, with notes of honeydew and cucumber getting more and more pronounced towards the end.

This cocktail is prepared to take you on an incredible journey and if you love gin cocktails it is a journey you must take.
