Boozy Suzy
COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS:
- 45 ml Vodka
- 15 ml Suze
- 15 ml Dry Vermouth
- 22,5 ml Grapefruit Juice
- 15 ml Simple Syrup
- 15 ml Egg White
- 2 dashed Peychaud’s Bitters
GARNISH:
- Grapefruit Twist
INSTRUCTIONS:
• Combine all of the ingredients (except 1 dash of bitters) in a cocktail shaker.
• Shake without ice to emulsify the egg.
• Add ice and shake again until the cocktail is chilled.
• Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
• Garnish with a twist of grapefruit and the last dash of bitters.

For me this was certainly a discovery. Suze is an unmistakable star here, with its bitter notes strongly pronounced in the cocktail. While other ingredients simply add a bit of balance to the drink, without overpowering it.
Since I love citrus, I decided to try Steve’s version with 22,5 ml of grapefruit juice and I believe it was the right choice for me.
