Recently I came across this amazing cold brew coffee negroni recipe and knew instantly, that it is something I need to try. An addition of cold brew coffee to this classic drink sounded too tempting to resist.

In essence Cold Brew Negroni, follows the classic build, combining gin, sweet vermouth and Campari. The only difference in this riff is the 10 ml addition of cold brew coffee and slightly toned-down Campari to 20 ml instead of 30 ml. Smooth and mellow notes of the cold brew pair fantastically well with the bitter sweet orange notes of Campari and juniper notes of the gin, elevating this cocktail and taking it into a new direction.

I loved the taste of cold brew in this drink, it made the bitterness of Campari slightly less pronounced making the cocktail even more subtle. If you love coffee and negroni, this is the cocktail for you. I also recommend using dehydrated orange wheel for the garnish. Sweet fragrance of the orange hits you immediately when you go to take a sip adding an additional layer to the full cocktail experience.
