Hey Mambo

COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS:
- 30 ml Luxardo Aperitivo (I used Campari)
- 15 ml Mezcal
- 15 ml Tequila Blanco
- 45 ml Pineapple Juice
- 45 ml Cream of Coconut
- 15 ml Fresh Lime Juice

GARNISH:
- Lime Wedge.
- Pineapple Wedge.

INSTRUCTIONS:
• Combine all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker or a blender.
• Shake with crushed ice or flash blend.
• If shaken, strain the cocktail over fresh crushed ice into a cocktail glass. If blended, simply pour the contents into
a cocktail glass.
• Garnish with a lime and / or pineapple wedge.

Hey Mambo is quite an unusual riff on Piña Colada, that is ready to surprise any cocktail lover.

Rum in this cocktail is replaced by much more earthy combination of mezcal and tequila blanco, with their vegetable and agave notes, prominent throughout the cocktail. An inventive addition of Campari brings some bittersweet citrusy notes to the mix, which, in my opinion, elevates this cocktail in its complexity and taste profile. The rest of the cocktail follows the traditional Piña Colada build, combining coconut, pineapple and lime.

As a whole, Hey Mambo is very tasty tropical drink, that can stand tall next to such classical tropical drinks like daiquiri, Piña Colada and others.
