Last couple of weeks I was digging into tiki cocktails and decided to give it a go. It is not the most traditional tiki recipe; rose hip syrup and black currant balsam takes the cocktail in an unusual direction. Combine that with some black rum and you get a cocktail of a strong deep taste that still retains notes of the tropics inherited from tiki culture.
