Last weekend we experienced a rather big heatwave, which led to my search for a light, easy and refreshing drink to help us deal with the heat. As a result, I came across a recipe for Rosé Sangria from The Spruce Eats. It was a light, cold and tasty low abv drink, perfect for the scorching heat. I took some liberties by adding a touch of allspice dram and crème de cassis to help bring out more flavor and add a bit of a twist on the usual sangria. It could have been an influence of the heat, but sangria disappeared in no time.
So, if you are experience awfully hot weather at the moment this is the drink for you. It will definitely help you get through the day.
