Next cocktail on the Bloody Mary themed list comes with a Mexican twist. Bloody Maria retains much of the original specs with a couple of interesting twists and turns.

First of all, tequila has been introduced as a base spirit with its vegetal agave notes, pairing fantastically well with the flavour of umami forward tomato juice. An addition of horseradish brings a bunch of sharp and pungent spiciness to the mix (what one would expect from a Mexican themed cocktail) giving the drink an extra dimension. From here on the cocktail follows the traditional build mixing flavourful Worcestershire Sauce, Tabasco and Cholula Hot Sauce with salt and pepper as the finishing touches.

Altogether, the flavour profile remains honest to the original while managing to improve and expand on it. Bloody Maria is a tasty and somewhat spicier take on the classic cocktail. It is a perfect choice for anyone looking on to explore new taste horizons.
