Bushwacker

COCKTAIL INGREDIENTS:
- 60 ml Dark Rum
- 30 ml Coffee Liqueur
- 30 ml Dark Creme de Cacao
- 60 ml Whole Milk
- 30 ml Cream of Coconut

GARNISH:
- Freshly Grated Nutmeg

INSTRUCTIONS:
• Combine all of the ingredients with a cup of crushed ice in a blender.
• Blend until smooth and frothy.
• Pour into a cocktail glass and top with more crushed ice if needed.
• Garnish with some freshly grated nutmeg.

Delicious, creamy, decadent and indulgent – just a few words, that could be used to describe the Bushwacker. Created in the Caribbean and undoubtedly inspired by such classics as Pina Colada, Bushwacker takes rum and coconut cream combination into an even richer world of chocolate and coffee.

Base of the cocktail is formed by sweet, molasses forward dark rum with strong notes of vanilla, cinnamon and caramel. It is then paired with coffee and cacao liqueurs bringing subtle bitterness and complexity to the cocktail. Cream of coconut sweetens the cocktail with a distinct tropical twist, playing especially well with rum and cacao. Milk adds delightfully smooth consistency while at the same time lengthening the cocktail and taming the sweetness. Final touch of nutmeg spices the cocktail up with a subtle aromatics, blending well into the overall cocktail flavour profile and adding an extra dimension.

All in all, Bushwacker is a true dessert cocktail, full of flavour and rich texture – a delight to drink in every sense of the word. Perfectly suited for cocktail lovers with a sweet tooth.
