There are few things more refreshing than a tiki cocktail and Kaiteur Swizzle surely delivers it.

Base of the cocktail in a true tiki fashion is a blended aged rum, in this particular case from Guyana. Velvety smooth with notes of rich dark sugar, tropical fruits and spices it lays a solid foundation. Velvet Falernum further expands on the notes of Caribbean spices and fruits elevating the cocktail complexity. Maple syrup brings rich floral sweetness pairing great with aged rum. Lime juice helps to balance the cocktail out with distinct tartness of lime, blending well with other ingredients especially velvet falernum. Finally, a couple of dashes of bitters seasons the cocktail with tropical spices that gently bond with other cocktail aromas integrating them into a cohesive whole.

All in all, Kaiteur Swizzle is a delicious flavour bomb that will bring the feeling of tropical sun on your face in no time. Perfectly suited for summer, but just as refreshing in the middle of autumn.
